This safari will take you through a park with endless supply of water which is filtered through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro. No wonder the Masai community called it Amboseli meaning – place of water. This is also the best place in Africa to view large herds of elephants with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Other animals that will also be seen in good numbers are the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, leopards and lions.
Pick up from your hotel or Residential house as early as 0600am. Drive via Loitoktok Road, this normally takes about 4-5 hours to get to Amboseli. Amboseli national pack is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. On arrival you will check in the Kibo Safari Camp for hot lunch.
After lunch you will have a short rest and then proceed for the afternoon game drive as from 1330hrs - 1830hrs for the whole afternoon game drive.
Return to Kibo Safari Camp for dinner and overnight as you wait the following day to have the whole day game drive.
Wake up time will be 0630am, go for the main breakfast and then proceed for the full day game drive at the back drop of Kilimanjaro. You will be in the Park and picnic lunch will be served at the view point.
Amboseli Park has become one of the most visited Park in Kenya for its serenity as well as the view of the peak of Kilimanjaro during the sun rise and and sun set in the evening. Here to be spotted are the big cats as well as the herds of the African Elephants.
Explore this amazing Kenya pride for the whole day and then return to the camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight in the tented Camp.
On this day you will have pre breakfast game drive as early as 0630am-0900am, then return to the camp for main breakfast, there after check out of the Camp and proceed back to Nairobi arriving early afternoon with a drop off to the Airport to catch up with your flight back home or to the next destination.
