Amazing experience!
Woodpecker arranged our transportation and Game Driver, David, for our 5 night stay at Mara. David exceeded all or our expectations that our group of first-time safari goers had. He is crazy knowledgeable about where to find the animals, how to approach them for best photos, what their characteristics, habits, and activities are....you name it, he knows it! We all agreed that he made the trip so much more meaningful for all of us (Group of 8).
All of our trip details were managed excellently by Woodpecker staff, and we couldn't have been more delighted and satisfied Thanks Woodpecker!

Once in a Lifetime Experience!
Best Trip Ever! Enjoyed a fabulous, once-in-a-lifetime adventure in Kenya, organized by Ida Mogambu at Woodpecker Safaris. Animals everywhere, wonderful Kenyan people, superb accommodations, and tasty food. Travel time with Kenyan Air from park to park was easy and fun with expert pilots. Personal guides at each park shared much information about each animal species we saw, just incredible. All in all, a perfect vacation! Would love to go again a a couple years

Amazing!
The safari experience was incredible. The driver was very attentive, and I was able to see many animals, including the big 5! The food was delicious, and varied in buffet and a la carte options. The rooms were very comfortable! I also loved visiting Masai Mara village! I highly recommend it!

Woodpecker Safaris is the best!
Woodpecker took care of all the details. Simply superb accommodations and food! I would bring my wife the next time and double my time at the facility.

Ideal African Safari
Woodpecker Safari was excellent with attention to every detail! Viewing a wide range of wildlife and birds at close range and in a beautiful natural setting it was everything we could have wished for! Highlights included elephants and giraffes against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro, Lions relaxing at noon, and entertaining antics of monkeys and baboons. The accommodations at Serena Lodge and Baobab were comfortable and pleasant and the food was great.
Our Amboseli guide and driver George was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, dedicated and a most enjoyable and considerate traveling companion!

Woodpecker East Africa Safari company has been our favorite for the past 8 years. Ida Mugambi is a wonderful person who has been with us for many years, guiding us through the process of choosing where to stay and working with our group of 15+. Look no further in choosing a safari company.

Safari tour
Excellent accommodations, friendly staff, great driver in transporting us from Nairobi to resort, wonderful safari landscape and topped with knowledgeable and congenial safari guides. One has to take the journey to really appreciate the work performed in providing a top class couple's vacation. I would encourage others to consider working with Woodpecker in providing a top notch trip.
